SHIPPING, RETURNS AND REPLACEMENT INFORMATION
Free shipping for orders containing at least 2 or more radios (accessories are sold barely above cost and need to be attached to at least 2 radios for free shipping). Please choose “Free Radio Shipping” in the shipping section of your shopping cart for qualifying orders. At least one pair of radios needs to be selected for the shipment to be free.
All items are in stock unless there is no “Add to Cart” button or a special order situation is otherwise noted. If placed by 1:00 pm EST, we can almost always ship your package the day of your order. We will e-mail you a tracking number the day your package ships. Your order will usually arrive at your doorstep 1-4 days later (we ship via UPS from Ohio – UPS Ground Shipping Time to Your Location – click). If your order takes longer than expected, please e-mail us at Service@RadiosPlus.com.
Rare Shipment Damage: UPS is responsible for getting your shipment to you in time and in tact, and are almost always perfect. However, if you notice or suspect any damage upon delivery, note so on the delivery papers. Do not refuse shipment. If you find the merchandise damaged due to shipping, call UPS immediately at 1-(800) PICK-UPS -742-5877. Damage due to shipping via UPS is a rare occurrence, but they are excellent at taking care of any problem.
Again, most orders are shipped the same day, and UPS delivers on a timely basis. During peak shipping periods, such as Christmas, UPS only guarantees overnight deliveries. 2 and 3-day deliveries are likely during these time periods, but not guaranteed.
We ship only to the US. Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii orders must be delivered by 2-day or next day air only. UPS ground shipping of any 2-way radio set (2 or more radios) or accompanying accessory order is free when sent to the continental US. If the improper shipping method, or quantity price is chosen in the shopping cart by the customer, we reserve the right to adjust the fee to the proper amount. As well, we reserve the right to charge shipping for returned items.
Taxes- Current laws call for sales taxes to be paid only by persons ordering from the state of Ohio. These taxes are calculated and automatically included in you total bill.
We have a 30 day return policy on all products. There are no returns for refund or exchange after 30 days.
Each manufacturer typically provides an entire year warranty as well. Please see below for this information.
For all returns, you must obtain a Return Authorization number by e-mail. Also, all items returned must contain all original packing material. We will need the following information in order to return your RA#:
Customer Name Original Date of Purchase 5-digit Order Number Exact items to be returned – Model, Quantity, Color etc. Reason for Return
To avoid or reduce any restocking fees for returned radios – It is essential all returned radios (other than defective radios covered under warranty) be returned in pristine, like-new condition in its original, unmarked carton with all packaging and paperwork included.
We recommend that,when your radios arrive, carefully open only two radios. Keep all paperwork in the original box. Fully charge the two radios and test them throughout your setting. If they work, then open the rest and put them to use.
If the radios are not applicable to your setting for distance or other reasons, contact us at Service@RadiosPlus.com. We will issue an RA#. Please repackage the two test radios exactly as they arrived and return all as indicated above. All the radios returned in non-sellable condition will have a 25% restocking charge plus freight charges will be deducted from your credit.
Typical RA requests types:
– Defective product (radios/accessories)- Please obtain an RA# number by emailing us at Service@RadiosPlus.com. We will issue an RA# and replace your units with new radios or accessories. Just obtain your RA# within one year of your order date. Returned defective items will be replaced with new, identical items. Shipping charges back to us will apply.
– Bought 2 radios and/or accessories for evaluation and they did not meet expectations. Contact us at Service@RadiosPlus.com within 30 days from shipment date for a RA#. We will accept back radios/accessories with no handling charge provided they are received in pristine condition as indicated above. This only applies to orders received as an evaluation order. If not in pristine condition, there will be a 25% handling charge.
– Customer changed mind and no longer wants the radios or accessories – Contact us at Service@RadiosPlus.com within 30 days from the date of shipment for a RA#. We will accept back up to six radios and accessories with a 15% handling charge for radios received in pristine condition and a 25% handling charge for radios returned in a non-like-new condition.
– Should you be uncertain that a radio can cover your area, or you need to test a repeater system, please follow this procedure –
To avoid potential restocking fees, please let us know, up front, that this is a trial to see if there is sufficient range. We will ship you pre-programmed test radios. Should they work out, we will complete the rest of your order and issue an RMA for the test radios.
These return and restocking fees are in place to assure that RadiosPlus.com can continue to offer the lowest prices on radios anywhere in the US.
NOTE: For sanitary purposes, items such as speaker/mics which have an internal earpiece (an earpiece that fit inside the ear versus a speaker that rests outside the ear) may not be returned once opened.
NOTE: FRS/GMRS radios are intended for recreational use. FRS/GMRS radios used in a commercial application will not be covered under Motorola’s warranty policy. For commercial applications, please review our assortment of Motorola business radios.
All Motorola products, both radios and accessories, carry a 1-year warranty against defects. Should one of your items become defective within the first year, just e-mail us at Service@RadiosPlus.com and let us know about your issue. Please supply as much information from your original order as possible, so that we may track down your order.
Once received, we will issue an RMA for your defective items. You will then mail these items using the instructions given. Once received, we will typically replace the defective piece with a brand new model.
Kenwood radios typically carry a 2-year warranty, but they sometimes offer repair of the radio versus replacement. Their accessories are warrantied for 90 days.
